Jerry L. Hofmann, 76, of Leetonia, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 25, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on July 1, 1948, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Mae (Johnson) Hofmann of Greenford. He was a 1968 graduate of Greenford High School.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Dwayne and Frank; his sisters, Ethelda Hope and Jensie Wiant; and his beloved wife, Wanda (Best) Hofmann, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage built on love, laughter, and teamwork.
Together, Jerry and Wanda built their beautiful "house in the woods" with their own hands, creating a warm and welcoming space that became the heart of countless family memories. Jerry retired from General Motors Lordstown after 33 years, and enjoyed many, many years of retirement.
He was the cherished big brother to Wanda's siblings, who adored him like one of their own. Jerry loved being a part of the big Best family.
