Salem - Paul Finch, age 84, of Salem, died peacefully on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at his home.
He was born on August 19, 1940, in Canfield, son of the late Carrol and Ethel Harrison Finch.
Paul was a graduate of Canfield High School and was a steel worker. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1969 as an E-4 Sergeant. In the late 50's and 60's he had a love of stock car racing and raced at the Canfield Fair. He sold his stock car to buy his beloved wife, Bonnie, her engagement ring. Paul enjoyed his hunting and fishing together with family, especially his two sons, Bill and Andrew, brother, "Pork" and nephew, Doug. He taught his children how to shoot, hunt, fish and how to turn wrenches in the garage. He loved watching his children compete in their various sports and that love continued with his grandchildren and he was their biggest fan.
