SALEM - William A. "Bill" Taylor passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana, surrounded by family.
Born on July 10, 1949, in Salem, Bill was the son of the late Earl and Georgia (May) Taylor.
A proud 1967 graduate of Salem High School, Bill went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Navy for four years. After serving in the military, Bill returned to his hometown, where he established himself as a skilled welder. He worked at Boardman Steel and Hickey Metal Fabrication, and later as a security guard at Guardo World.
He was an avid fan of Ohio State and the Cleveland Browns. His love for animated characters like Snoopy and Scooby Doo, as well as his admiration for eagles, reflected his playful spirit and love for nature.
