Marylyn Joyce Aken Blower, 88
WEIRTON, WV – Marylyn Joyce Aken Blower, formerly of Chester, passed away Monday morning, March 17, 2025, at Trinity West Medical Center. She was 88 years old.
Born in East Liverpool, February 6, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Richard J. and Sylvia Silverthorn Aken. An area resident all her life, she was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chester.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Blower on August 14, 2001. The couple married on May 21, 1954. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Blower and a brother, Richard L. Aken.
She is survived by a nephew, Kurt Aken (Teresa), and his children, Alex and Ashley.
A private graveside burial will be held at Locust Hill Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dawson Funeral Home.
