EAST LIVERPOOL – Freda G. Adkins, 91, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at the Calcutta Health Care Center.
Freda was born on March 14, 1933, in Yolyn, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Bernie and Delphia (Ferrell) Adkins. She was a homemaker and worked at the Ross Nursing Home at one time. She was a former member of the former Etruria Street Church of God for 25 years and is a member of Boyce Church where she served as the secretary of the Homebuilders Group. Freda loved doing word search puzzles and watching old game shows, especially her favorite the Match Game. She enjoyed canning, sewing, quilting and gardening.
Preceding Freda in death were her husband, whom she married July 28, 1954, Conward Adkins; sister Delores Adkins and seven brothers Ralph D. Adkins, Harold Adkins, Eugene Adkins, Donald Adkins, Robert Adkins, Kenneth Adkins and James Adkins.
