SALEM - James K. Thellman, known affectionately as Jim to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 83 in his beloved hometown of Salem, Ohio. Born on December 21, 1941, Jim's zest for life and his adventurous spirit were evident from an early age.
Jim's journey through life was marked by his deep love for his family. He was a devoted husband to his late wife, Jackie Thellman, with whom he shared a beautiful marriage that began on March 23, 1968. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect until her passing. Although they had no children of their own, Jim's generous heart and creative spirit were a significant influence on his nephews, Robert (Amie) Hasson and Scott (Lacey) Hasson, as well as Tim (Diane) Oriole, whom he regarded and loved like a son. These family members will forever cherish the memories and lessons learned from Jim.
