Salem-Macy Celeste Goodman, 28, passed away on Sunday evening, March 2, 2025. She was born June 4, 1996, in Alliance, Ohio, the oldest child of David A. Goodman, Jr. and Cristy (Baird) Goodman.
Macy was a 2014 graduate of Salem High School, where she was involved in a variety of activities, including choir, bells, track, flag line, Spanish Club, Key Club, and TACT. Macy's leadership qualities shone brightly as a member of National Honor Society and as the yearbook editor, and her peers recognized her bright disposition, voting her best smile for senior superlative and prettiest smile for the yearbook.
Continuing her education at Youngstown State University, Macy demonstrated her commitment to helping others by earning a Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 2018. Macy began her nursing journey at Mercy Health's St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, where she quickly gained valuable experience as a member of the Level 1 Trauma Emergency Room team.
