SALEM - John Roger Hull, a steadfast pillar of his community and a devoted family man, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025, at Grace Wood Senior Living in Salem, Ohio. Born on June 29, 1940, in Gavers, Roger's life was a rich tapestry of dedication, service, and love.
Roger was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving his country from 1958 to 1961. After his military service, he embarked on a 40-year career with General Motors in Lordstown, retiring in 2008 with the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Roger's commitment to his work was paralleled by his faith; he was a long-time attendee of the Salem First Friends Church, where he found great solace and community.
