Dennis Plunkett, beloved husband, father, brother, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, in Youngstown, Ohio, at the age of 70. He was born on May 16, 1954, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, to the late Elmer and Gladys "Pud" Balch.
Dennis dedicated 23 years of his professional life as a pottery detailer at Sterling China, where he was known for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Beyond his working career, Dennis was a valued member of both the VFW and the Eagles, cherishing the camaraderie and sense of community these organizations provided.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Gladys, his brothers Elmer, Jeffrey, and Hank Balch, and his sister Betty-Jean Balch. Dennis leaves behind a devoted family, who will cherish his memory. He is survived by his loving wife, Joann Plunkett; his daughter, Chenille Morris; his brother, Sam Balch; his sisters, Nancy Balch and Marlene McDaniel; and his cherished grandsons, Logan and Preston Morris.
