SALEM - Richard W. Lease Sr,, at the age of 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on October 17, 1935, Richard was the son of the late Clarence and Elsie (Gidley) Lease.
Richard was a graduate of Salem High School, before embarking on a fulfilling career at Deming Pump. His dedication to the company spanned an impressive 30 years, where his hard work and loyalty were well-known and respected. Richard was an active and contributing member of the community, including his past membership with the Eagles.
An individual of varied interests and passions, Richard was an avid bowler, often found perfecting his game at the local lanes. His commitment to helping others was evident in his remarkable achievement of donating 30 gallons of blood over many years, a testament to his generous spirit.
