SALEM – Barbara Marie Mullin, 84, passed away on Jan. 23, 2025, after a brief illness, with her devoted and loving husband of 61 years by her side. She was born on Jan. 19, 1941, in Punxsutawney, daughter of the late George and Helen (Haslego) Ferance.Barbara worked as an insurance agent for Continental Insurance in Cleveland, Ohio, and later for Aetna Insurance in Elmira, New York. She attended the Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman, Ohio. Barbara was a supporter of the Boys Town Organization and the American Diabetes Association. Barbara possessed a passion for all holidays, evidenced by the excitement and flair she exhibited in decorating, making every holiday special for those around her. A favorite activity of her grandchildren was to go through each room in her house counting all the Christmas trees. She was also very creative, and her hobbies included chocolate candy making, crafting and interior decorating. She had quite the green thumb and her flowe
