BELOIT - Twila Eileen Frantz, 87, a cherished soul known for her kindness, friendliness, and gentle spirit, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord, on Tuesday evening, January 21, 2025, at Shiela's Haven Board and Care in Beloit, where she was receiving hospice care. Twila was born on October 3, 1937, in Salem, the treasured daughter of Wilbur and Iona (Baringer) Shinn, both of whom preceded her in death.
Twila's life was one of deep commitment to her family, her work, and her community. After graduating from Leetonia High School in 1955, she dedicated many years of service as an office worker for Deming Pump, where she was highly regarded for her professionalism and warm demeanor. Her dedication to her work was paralleled by her devotion to her faith and community as an active member of the Salem First Christian Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years, and the Eastern Star of Salem.
