Doris Ann Flaherty, 91
EAST LIVERPOOL – Doris Ann Flaherty, of East Liverpool, passed away Tuesday afternoon at the Calcutta Healthcare Center. She was 91 years old.
Born in East Liverpool, May 26, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Hazel "Dolly" Martin Carroll. A resident of the area all her life, she was a member of the East Liverpool High School Class of 1952. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church. She enjoyed bowling and cherished her time with friends playing bingo and cards.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric C. Flaherty, on November 20, 2015. The couple married October 16, 1959. She was also preceded by a sister, Betty Foutts.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: two daughters, Pam McDowell and her husband, Tim, and Cathy Beadnell and her husband, Dave, as well as a son, Bob Gbur and his wife, Carolyn, all of East Liverpool.
