URBANA – Betty Ann Tobias, 90 of Urbana, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2025 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 15, 1934 in North Lewisburg to the late Frank and Dorothy L. (Hickman) Snyder. Betty loved many things; she loved sitting on her porch and reading novels. She also was always working crossword puzzles and playing bingo. Betty loved nothing more than spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Richard D. Tobias; daughter, Melissa A. Tobias-Jackson; as well as five grandchildren, Jamie Ledsome, Chester Tobias, Elizabeth Pease, Kaylen Byrd, and Torin S. Bolena; as well as several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, James W. Tobias; son, James Edward Tobias; 4 brothers, Charles, Donald, Kenneth and Franklin; as well as her sisters, Louise, Norma and Virginia.
