John "Woody" Boston, 78, passed away on June 30 2024. Born on May 7, 1946, in Salem, John lived a life filled with love for his family and respect for all those around him. After graduating from Leetonia High School in 1964, John went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Navy. His commitment to his military service was a testament to his loyalty and dedication. He retired as a Regional Manager of Cellular Construction Projects for USWEST/QWEST Communications after 27 years. John was known for his kind and respectful nature. He had a warm personality that made everyone feel valued and appreciated. He loved to laugh & make everyone else laugh and was always the life of the party. He was a family man & cherished every moment he spent with his loved ones! He found joy in simple pleasures like fishing, playing cards and creating lasting memories with friends along the way! In his free time, he was an active member of the Leetonia American Legion Post 131,
